This course is for a person whom uses the Airtable platform, has a basic knowledge of using the platform, and needs to learn how to build a database to track an inventory of equipment.

Student Requirements

  1. Student prerequisite:  Airtable Basics Course and  Airtable Building Your Company Database Course
  2. Has completed setting up a "People and Companies" Base and a "Projects" Base in their Airtable account.
  3. Basic computer and internet based software knowledge.
  4. Ability to install a collaborative software like Microsoft Teams.
  5. Computer with fast speed internet connection:
    1. Laptop for in person training,
    2. Laptop or desktop computer for remote learning.

Training Certification

Certificate of Achievement as proof of training, no expiry date.

  1. Setting up a Base for the Equipment Inventory database.
  2. Setting up a Base for performing inspections on one of the equipment types.
  3. Establishing the required tables.
  4. Establishing the required fields.
  5. Establishing the required formulas.
  6. Assigning keywords for multi-selecting items.
  7. Establishing multiple view types.
  8. Establishing a shareable Form for inspections.
  9. Entering mock records for testing.
  10. Syncing the Equipment Base with the Projects Base.
  11. Syncing one of the Inspection Bases with the Projects Base.
